All kinds of FREE SHOW
TONIGHT at the 7house 1914 Myron Cove South, Cordova, TN 38016.
FRENCHIE!, FIVEnine, Voltron, Five Dollar Refund (acoustic),
WISC at 6:30. Good to have Frenchie back around come hang
out and reminisce about 5 years ago. Show FIVEnine some
love, they're from Jacksonville, AL, and they hooked up Wicker a
month ago. Sam Prager is in Voltron, he added WISC at the
last minute. We did some gang vocals with Five Dollar
Refund yesterday just before they put the finishing touches on
their new album.

For the first time in a
long time, we have some new family, after the excitement of
Pants Tour '09 we joined forces with Five Dollar Refund, Voltron,
and Abe. We had so much fun with these dudes last week
that we had to join forces with them. Check them out.

Brian show
tonight at the 7house at 7
The Acorns
The Raleigh Symphony
Wicker-(all DUDE RANCH tonight)
the pool party got bumped to tomorrow.
this week has been phenomenal, better than we could have ever
asked or hoped for. all of it is because of the venues being so
generous, the bands always being cool, and all of you guys being
awesome. i was a little concerned with all the people who i
thought had really held the Pants Tour so close not showing this
year that it wouldn't be as great.
This has been the best Pants Tour ever.
Thank you to everyone.

Survived the first day,
last night went better than expected, selfishly, Pants Tour is
the best week of the year. I get to play every night, see
awesome people having a great time, hang out with new people,
give away cds, let new bands play shows, and raise money for
charity. It's stupid how much this rules. Thanks to
everyone who came out and was so respectful of our
house/neighborhood/the bands. Tonight is at Memphis Music
at Poplar and White Station, my buddy Chuck is running things,
he'll hook you up. Should have shirts TONIGHT!

The first day of Pants Tour
is finally here! Any words for the kids Skates? "Tell 'em
to come to the Pants Tour." There you go, Skates and i are
finishing the new album, in your hands tonight. The
game'll be on in the Sports Room so you can watch the Magic
begin their historic comeback and enjoy rock, punk and
otherwise. See you tonight.

Hello to everyone else.
Glad you're back too. The past couple days have been
devoted to awesomeness. Right now, while we're being
tornadoed, The Summer League is playing the Icthus Festival in
the Commonwealth. Today Skates and i finetuned the
split we're putting out with Wicker, The Acorns, and The
Amblotics. We're making them right now, tomorrow is artwork,
Sunday is the first day you can get one, just the way the
founded fathers of Native Americans would have intended:
you come to a show and hang out, you get a cd for free, you live
out of town and want one, we'll send it. The You Can't Have Our
Kids split comes out Sunday on the first day of Pants Tour '09.
Yesterday was Chad working tirelessly on the Icthus sampler
while Dustin flodged on the show. Also yesterday, my dad
had helped put the shelf up in the Sports Room and Billy and i
worked on it while Jason Baker came back in town and we
discussed the Smith7 Records Basketball Team going 1-0.
Our softball team won and stays in first place in our division.
I can't sleep when it's dark outside.

Hello Matt Hall. Your
devotion is touching.
In 4 days we've got the 4th annual
World Pants Tour. Here's the idea, most of us are too
young or too jobbed up to go cross-country for a tour.
There's also the fact that with us being non-profit, there's not
a whole lot of wiggle room on gas money. So the Pants Tour
is a full week of shows in Memphis where the kids we care about
most get to hang out every night for cheap, see lots of
different bands, and have their money go towards a good cause.
This year all profits are getting shipped overseas to Recife,
Brazil where our old friends Craig, Mary, Gennifer, and Shelby
DeLille continue to work with the food bank they started, the
youth center they work at, the 3 new homes they are building.
If you want to contribute directly, there's more info at
www.southamericanmission.org or you can just come to the
Pants Tour and we'll toss it in. If you want to help but
got no cash and hate music, you can still support by sending
them emails. They left their air conditioned existence a
few years back to do some real good in the world, tell 'em how
awesome they are at
cmdelille@southamericamission.org . So yeah, Pants Tour,
bands don't get paid, wow, sounds like other local booking
fiascos, well here's what we do, bands that play Pants Tour get
in to all the shows for free all week long. That way bands
are having more fun and supporting each other without having to
pay for it. It's more like a barter system, America, feel
free to take note. Not in a band? still want to see
awesome shows all week long but $5 a night is too steep? Get
yourself one of those Pants Tour All Access Passes for $25 and
you'll get into every show, the Pool Party at the end of the
week, the real cool club at the other side of town, and we'll
all hi-five you a lot.
Things i'm not good with:
computers, capitalism, comma conservation. It falls
squarely on me that the site's been down for so long and that
even now is woefully in need of updating. Now that my
full-time job is missing my students out at Snowden, i'm gonna
try to keep this alive, let me know if you care or have some way
to help. Adam, Drew, and Mikey (and countless others) have
done so much to keep the site going and looking great. As
with everyone who has devoted years of their life to this
unpopular way of thinking, none of them ever made a dollar for
all of their efforts. Many thanks to them. We were
all raised to worship money. We must all fight to see that
our system is flawed and that we can aspire to be more than just
consumers. we're still here if you want to help or talk,
